You know, for years, I’ve been living with what I’d call one of my slogans…”frayed knot” only remembering that my husband told me a joke (very rare), a clever joke, the location of which was a bar and the punchline was “frayed knot.”
Googling these components led me to you and I thank you.

As Marion said to George while they dragged a very drunken Cosmo Topper out of the bar……”Don’t drop him George. He might splash.”

Sahfi, 3 ropes decide to have a drink, but the local bar has a sign that “says no ropes allowed”. So the 1st rope messed up his hair and walks into the bar. The bouncer stops him and says “Hey you! Aren’t you a rope?”
-”No, I’m a frayed knot.”

I heard a string joke once, but it ended with the punchline “frayed knot”. I’m going to forward this to my compusavvy friend for translation before I decide how to feel about it. How do you do it, Mark? Even your jokes make me feel like an underachiever.
