I made a stool once, (I'm sure it is not as lovely as yours). I use mine to hold a floor length mirror up off the ground so I can look at myself and actually see my head. Of course, when I need yet another pair of shoes from the very top of the closet, I have to move the mirror to get the step stool. Maybe it is a gender thing. Congratulations!
