Quiz night = Fun night
Last night was quiz night at Hurley’s. Good beer (St Ambroise oatmeal stout), good food (nachos, lots and lots of nachos), good company (we teamed up with him and her and chatted with Tyler and Cara and Kim and Walter and Karen and Dusty our fabulous waitress) and a most excellent set of trivia provided by Tyler, including the little known fact that Bruce Springsteen has “dubious vocal quality”.
If you haven’t given quiz night a go yet, I heartily recommend it. First Tuesday of (nearly) every month.
So who won?
The quizmaster’s wife… very suspicious if you ask me
And Kim cheated…she…she…she…KNOWS stuff!
She probably even knew the Bruce Springsteen question.
The quizmaster’s wife needed a whole team to pull that feat off! I think our win has to do less with me being married to Tyler, and more to my ability to look pathetic and alone and have people want to be on a team with me…..(yes, I stole Kim) We had a team with a very well diversified base of knowledge, so although I was good at music and lit, Karen was also great at music, Kim a genious with lit, and we all lucked out with the hard city category!
But you all smell.
We all smell … lovely? I think further discussion is warrented on the topic of inserting strange, even borderline psychotic opinions into otherwise excellent trivia questions.

Hmmmm, perhaps I could give you his address, but I am concerned about what you’d do with it. I have to live here too……
