Apparently they don’t.

All too often, Mark brings me something from the fridge, shoves it under my nose and says, “does this smell ok to you?”

I must be a man! I do that all the time. I blame allergies and a constant blocked nose.

My favourite line is always “EWWWW! GAHHH! Here hon, taste this. Does it taste funny to you?” As if you’re going to ingest a food item after a reaction like that.

No, sweetie, men are wimps. We want to make absolutely sure something’s not spolied before we sink our teeth into it. Given that we can wear the same underwear for four days straight, is it any wonder we don’t trust our own judgment?

I am nodding in agreement with Zero Boss.
My husband does that all the time…I always say, who know, try it and find out!
