Lazy Sunday
A very funny LOTR thing over at stupidevilbastard. Thanks, Les.
My favourites are 1, 6, 11, 13, 16, and 17.
Les also has a lot to say, and he says it well, check out the rest of his site
Do you write like a man or a woman?
I came across this over at cheeseorgy.
Apparently, about 80% of what I write is written like a man.
How about you?

Apparently, I write like a guy. I really must stop writing about beer and boobies on my web site.

I do like the LOTR list, but is gender really relevant to writing style in today’s post modernist, egalitarian and androgynously-open literary society? Who’s really to say how you should be writing, I say just let those words all hang out on the paper and come what may.

No one is saying it is better to write like one sex rather than another. This site simply analyses writing samples and interestingly, the majority of the time is able to tell whether the writer is male or female.

One of my blogroll reads analyses his blogroll once a month and I’m always, always a male.
I should stop using them technical type words.
