House of Geek, House of Nerd
The computers in our house are magic. There is a pile of them in the basement, there is one in my office, and there is a laptop that goes to and from work with Mark. We have a wireless network. I can choose music on my computer and have it play on the surround sound system in the tv room. We can surf the ‘net out on the deck in the summertime. We use Firefox, not Explorer. Linux is installed on all the machines except the Mac. I have my own private tech support.
The machines are named Burp, Belch, Fart, and Sneeze. The newest addition to the family is called Splooge.
We are puerile and silly.
I’m married to a geek, and I love it.

You know what’s great about your husband besides being a geek? Being a geek that actually gets that stuff done! Oh, to be able to play music from a central computer in any room in the house. Unless I do it all myself, or hire someone, it’s a pipe dream for me.

hehe, I love been a geek from a family of geeks. My brother & sister live at home with me & we each have a PC in our rooms, we are running a network, we all have Linux installed but I boot up usinf Windows instead. And my bro sent an email this weekend to me & my sis espounding the virtues of Firefox…and he’s in the adjoining room

I’m also married to a geek and I love it. I particularly love the laptop that also goes to work with my geek but then becomes my property when he gets through the door so I can blog from in front of the tv. We’ve got Geek Chic and we rock!
