Just one day out of life
Apart from the minor fact that I spent two hours on the phone with my boss today, I am officially on holiday. For two weeks. Yee-ha!
The holiday festivities will kick off with part two of Mark’s birthday celebration. We did the friend thing on his birthday weekend, and tonight we are doing the family thing.
Tomorrow, my two younger brothers and their respective girlfriends are coming to do yardwork. I will be sitting in a chair on the deck sipping something cool and delicious while pointing to the things I want done.
We will then have another barbecue and consume large quantities of alcohol.
Next Friday is Blue Rodeo and dinner with her and him.
Days of doing nothing but gardening, eating and sleeping will follow.
Ah holidays. Ah summer. Ah bliss!

Noelle - they did a fabulous job and I have now boxed them up (don’t worry, I made some airholes) and sent them to you. Please feed them something yummy and give them beer.
